Kim Winstead grew up riding Hunter Jumper in Florida. She now has 40 years of experience, knowledge, and love for riding right here in Arlington, TN. Her daughter Shelby also fell in love with horses as soon as she was able to get on one. Although Shelby had no interest in English riding, she began showing Western Pleasure. At age 11, she tried Barrel Racing and has been competing ever since. In 2005, Kim began Barrel Racing with her daughter, after being her groom for several years. Shelby's first Barrel horse, Coppertone Cache (CC), is 19 years old and still competing today.
The Winstead's now have 4 barrel horses and 1 pleasure horse that has been added to
their family. They have always
fed Purina because they
believe in their products, so
